In this Privacy Policy, we inform you about which personal data we process in connection with our online shop, for what purposes this is done, to whom data may be disclosed and what rights affected persons have.

7. Shopify as shop platform

Our online shop is operated using Shopify. Shopify provides us with the technical platform through which products are displayed, orders are processed and shop functions are provided.

In this context, personal data may be processed by Shopify, in particular technical data, order data, customer data and usage data, insofar as this is necessary for the operation, security, fraud prevention and provision of the online shop.

8. Payment processing

The payment methods available in the checkout are processed through the respectively connected payment service providers.

This applies in particular to payments via Shopify Payments, PayPal and TWINT or the payment service provider used for TWINT.

Depending on the selected payment method, the data required for the payment is transmitted to the corresponding payment service provider. This may include in particular name, billing address, delivery address, order amount, payment information and transaction data.

We do not store complete credit card data in our shop.

9. Shipping processing

For the delivery of ordered products, we disclose the data required for this purpose to shipping and logistics service providers.

This includes in particular name, delivery address and, where applicable, further information necessary for delivery.

10. Email communication and notifications

We use your email address to confirm orders, provide information about shipping, respond to enquiries and send important information in connection with your order.

You will only receive marketing emails if you have actively subscribed to them or insofar as this is legally permitted. A double opt-in procedure may be used for subscribing to marketing emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

11. Review requests and customer reviews

After an order, we may send a review request by email so that customers can review their experience with the purchased product and our online shop.

For the management, sending of review requests and display of customer reviews, we use the service Judge.me. For this purpose, data required for this process may be processed, such as name, email address, order information, product information and review content.

Review requests are used exclusively to obtain feedback on an order. Reviews are only published if a customer actively submits a review.

12. Cookies and similar technologies

Our online shop may use cookies and similar technologies.

Technically necessary cookies are required so that basic shop functions can be used, for example shopping cart, checkout, language settings or security functions.

Data in connection with orders, invoices and business transactions is retained in accordance with statutory retention obligations.

Reviews and associated data may remain stored for as long as the review is displayed in the online shop or for as long as this is necessary for traceability, moderation or handling enquiries.

Thereafter, personal data is deleted or anonymised, unless legal obligations or legitimate interests prevent further retention.
